No, we do not recommend boiling your device as this will damage it. To disinfect, we recommend using 70% isopropyl alcohol with a soft, clean toothbrush.

At full charge, it will automatically power off in about 15 minutes. At low charge, it will auto power off in about 3 minutes.

We do not recommend leaving your MINTSONIC device outdoors under the sun, as this may damage it.

The device typically comes pre-charged and ready to use. If needed, charge it for about 15-30 minutes before your first use.

Simply connect the thin end of the included USB cord into the charging port (located at the back, middle area of the device). Then plug the USB end into any USB port adapter.

The blinking light will let you know energy is being restored. Disconnect the cord once the light becomes constant, letting you know the device is fully charged.

A full charge should only take 30-45 minutes.

A fully charged MintSonic V-Lift should last about a month with regular use.

Start with light, up-and-down and side-to-side strokes to "warm up" your tissue and stimulate circulation. When your skin starts feeling warm, and/or turns pinkish/red, that means you've got healthy blood circulating and oxygenating your muscles. When you feel like adding more pressure, you can ease into a deeper massage and myofascial release.

You can use the fingers to massage, the nub “thumbs” to press into and release trigger points, and the flat edges and handle to smooth over bumpy, tense areas. If a certain spot feels tense, ease into it by massaging all around it and working your way to relaxing and loosening the area.

For deep trigger points, you can press in and apply pressure for about 30 to 90 seconds, or however long you feel the need. The tension will relax and decompress after you apply pressure for some time and allow your body to receive the treatment.

You may also apply pressure to specific "knots" or trigger points by lying on the KOA Massage Tool or leaning it against the wall or a straight, hard-back chair.

Cool down and relax your myofascial tissue using light strokes with the KOA Massage Tool, or your hands. Lightly massage the treated areas as a last step to promote faster relief.

Be sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your KOA Massage to help flush out the toxins you’ve released.

For best results, use the KOA Massage Tools on a consistent basis all over your body, and especially on areas where you carry extra tension.

We recommend treating yourself to a KOA Massage at least 3-5 times a week. Similar to an intense workout, if the areas you massaged feel sore (like post-workout sore) the next day, wait until they’re no longer sore to use the KOA Massager on those areas.

For a quick, anytime, anywhere tension release treatment, use them over thin, tight-fitting clothing. Perfect for on the go, at the gym or yoga studio, or while you're lounging at home.

You can use any oil you'd like.

We recommend a natural oil like avocado, coconut, or massage oil. Remember, you're massaging it into your skin, which is your largest organ. Treat your skin to something healthy and renewing.

While it’s not required, it’s definitely more comfortable and effective to warm up before a KOA Massage.

You can use them during or after exercise, use heating packs on your target areas, or use them in the sauna, bath, or shower.

We offer 3 sizes to ensure you’re getting the precise results and experience for every part of your body with every KOA Massage.

Always ease into and allow your body to accept the massage. You should never go deeper or harder than what you feel comfortable with.

You're in full control, and you can decide when light strokes, or deeper strokes and trigger point release are best for each area.

If an area feels very tender or sensitive, ease up on the pressure and massage all around the area, working your way to the target. Once your connective tissues are warmed and relaxed, you'll feel when your body is ready to accept the decompressing, healing massage.

When applying pressure to trigger points, the toxins break down and release, which allows blood flow and oxygen to flow into that space. This may cause some temporary soreness and bruising to occur afterwards. This is completely normal, and also a sign that you’re healing.

The bruising should not be severe or painful. You’re in complete control of the pressure you use, and the duration you spend massaging yourself.

Please feel free to use any recovery methods you feel the need for, including ice packs, cold showers or other cold therapy, muscle relaxers, topical arnica, as well as quality nutrition and sleep.

You may also lightly massage around the area to encourage circulation and help your body move out the toxins. Some light cardio the day after can also work wonders and assist your body with the detox process.

Make sure to drink extra water and stay hydrated and healthy!

The KOA Massage Tools are specifically designed to mimic the hands, elbows, and techniques of a skilled massage therapist. By massaging the skin, you're addressing the layers of myofascial tissue beneath the skin and helping to relax, smooth, and detangle fascial adhesions. It can also help "break up" scar tissue and create more space between the layers of tissue so they can hydrate and glide effortlessly, allowing you to have more range of motion, better performance, and less pain and restriction.

The “fingers,” “thumbs,” and handles can be used to work out adhesions, smooth out bumpy textures, decompress tension, and allow your tissues to release inflammation and dysfunction.

We recommend using soap and warm water to cleanse after each use, and drying thoroughly.

You may also put them into the top rack of the dishwasher.

A foam roller and rolling devices can help smooth and relax the soft tissues. However, they don't "untangle" or create space between the deeper layers of connective tissue.

If you've used a foam roller, you'll be pleasantly surprised with how different and more effective the KOA Massage Tools are. They're also more versatile and are designed to easily reach every area of your body.

That being said, the KOA Massage Tools can complement and enhance any recovery tool or method.
